FOCOL subsidiary signs solar power purchase deal with GBPC
Bahamas Solar and Renewables (BSR), a subsidiary of FOCOL, and Grand Bahama Power Company (GBPC), yesterday entered into a power purchase agreement (PPA) for BSR to provide five megawatts of solar electricity to Grand Bahama''s grid, in a continued bid for GBPC to decrease its reliance on fossil fuels and to stabilize power costs on Grand Bahama.
