Virginia Beach, Va., Oct. 24, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Swift Solar, in collaboration with the US Department of Defense, ("DoD", recently rebranded as the Department of War), successfully completed a first-of-a-kind demonstration of its US-manufactured perovskite tandem solar technology for the DoD's. The system incorporates Nishati’s latest portable solar array, the Expedition™ 600, which is rated at 615 watts and features new state-of-the-art materials, solar cells, and shading protection. OSG 600 employs a turn-key “all-in-one” concept that integrates solar panels, racking, power electronics. Sandia’s world-class technologies, experience, software, and facilities provide support to military customers to address and solve national security energy needs. The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to. The Department of Defense (DoD) announced at Fort Liberty today, a first-of-its-kind partnership with Duke Energy to power five military installations in North and South Carolina with carbon-free electricity. As part of this agreement, DoD will be the exclusive purchaser of all output generated by.
