Introduction
In this paper, a multi-objective optimization model is established to investigate the effectiveness of a distributed wind-photovoltaic-hydropower hybrid energy system, in which a pumped storage system is integrated to store the excess wind and photovoltaic power. We consider the problem of reliably operating a microgrid with solar generation and pumped hydroelectric storage.
