Is Ric energy ready to build a photovoltaic plant in Italy?

Madrid/Milan, November 28, 2024 – RIC Energy has commenced the construction of four of its eight planned photovoltaic plants in Italy, which have reached “Ready To Build” status.

How will Lightsource BP and Ric energy work together?

Under the terms of the deal, Lightsource BP and RIC Energy have also agreed to work in partnership to develop the 14 sites across Madrid, Andalucía, and Castilla y León. The initial set of projects are estimated to reach ‘ready to build’ state by the end of the year. They will then commence operations in different stages between 2022 and 2025.

When will Ric energy's photovoltaic project be completed?

Construction is expected to be completed by February 2025. The four photovoltaic plants currently under construction will have a total installed capacity of 5.3 MWp, representing over 50% of RIC Energy’s initial portfolio to achieve RTB status in Italy. The operation of the remaining portfolio is scheduled for summer 2025.
