Modular System for Low-Voltage Switchboards

The basis of the CUBIC Modular System has a main module size of 192mm. This unique dimension ensures a maximum of versatility and enables an enclosure, which can be customised to meet individual requirements and demands from the user.

What is a cubic modular system?

The CUBIC Modular System is based on a concept of standard modules in steel for the construction of electrical switchboard systems up to 6300A. These relatively few standard parts not only makes it possible to construct any type of enclosure it also offers full independent in relation to your choice of electrical components.

Why should you choose cubic modular?

Whenever the need for a safe and efficient power distribution is needed, the CUBIC Modular system is the answer. The modular thinking behind our signature enclosure system makes it possible to build every type of switchboard solution in the low-power segment, based on several standard parts, without compromising on quality.

What is cubic's product programme?

CUBIC’s product programme consists of the five following areas: Modular System switchboards, standard and customized enclosures, CPS25, Cu-flex busbar connections and electric components & switchgear. The CUBIC Modular System is based on a concept of standard modules in steel for the construction of electrical switchboard systems up to 6300A.

How big is a cubic module?

The main module of the CUBIC modular system is 192 mm, which is remarkable for being divisible by 12 figures without decimals. During the construction of a panel, logical main and sub modules are used so that the fitter need not take millimetres into consideration. All fitting is done by means of only very few tools.

Where can a modular system be used?

The modular system can be used in many situations, where electrical switchboards are a necessity to secure the operation of electrical equipment. The photo below shows a FORM 2 protection of the busbars vertically, in top and in front of the joints of the busbar systems.

What is a modular busbar system?

The modular system is supplied in parts. Using a relatively few standard parts, it is possible to build enclosures in bespoke sizes and models. CUBIC’s type-tested busbar systems consist of standard components and cover a range up to 8750 Amps.
