A review of renewable energy based power supply options for telecom towers
To power remote telecom towers continuously, Scamman et al. have proposed an off-grid hybrid system with a combination of solar photovoltaic array, wind turbine, electrochemical storage and a fuel cell. It was reported that a, 1.6 kW electrolyzer and 1 kW fuel cell is enough to power 1 kW BTS load continuously.
