Introduction
This preliminary siting plan posting is for the battery and conventional fuel types as specified in the 2026 ITP CPP Transition study scope and Resource Plan shortfall results. These reports provide analysis and discussion of the process of installing the batteries and testing data. These reports detail the Testing the Performance of Lithium Ion Batteries project outcomes. The reports analyse the performance of twenty-six leading batteries, comparing major lithium-ion. testing of conventional and emerging battery technologies. Eight batteries were included in the original Phase 1 project in 2015, with ten batteries added in Phase 2 in 2017, and a further eight in Phase 3 in 2019. The aim of the testing was to independently verify battery performance (capacity.
